With such a rich history in the area, we at Maletis Beverage understand the importance of giving back to the communities that have given us so much. That is why we strive to continue to strengthen our presence in the service organizations around us. Our employees and partners have given their time and resources to many organizations and we want to share with you some of these incredible citizens and their volunteerism! Philanthropy at Work
Bringing a vast array of yummy drinks to retailers is second nature to us and we have been doing just that since 1935. While our portfolio has grown and changed since the start, so has our desire and ability to help people in the very neighborhoods where our retailers do business. When you see our brands at a store and those brands are involved in raising funds, be assured that Maletis Beverage is supporting the efforts as well. It is our responsibility as well as our privilege to aid our community members.
Karts for Kids
Consumers who made a certain purchase at select retailers during the month of April have supported Randall Children’s Hospital and the NICU at Legacy Emanual to the tune of over ONE MILLION Dollars in the 5 years that this program has existed. Thanks to Albertsons, Safeway, and all the stores that are involved as well as our esteemed suppliers.
You Buy One, We Plant One
The wildfires in Oregon in 2020 burned over a million acres. Portland Cider Co reached out to us early in 2021 with a plan that had been pitched to them by Stoller Wine Group . After PCC, Stoller, Sunriver, and Pelican were committed to support, how could Maletis say ‘no’? Of course, we opted in and from July 1 until August 31 this year, for each 6 pack purchased, one dollar will be donated to Oregon Parks Forever who in turn will plant one tree.
Project C.A.R.E.S
Plaid Pantry’s idea was brought to our Zeke Lindsay who was happy to be involved. This initiative works in two ways. Consumers can donate a dollar when they check out. Our suppliers have some skin in the game too and these financial donations are supporting the Sunshine Division and SOLVE. Project C.A.R.E.S runs July 1-July 31 this year.

Two bike riders started in NYC on July 5th and will finish in Pacific City Oregon on Aug 22nd, riding bikes 90 miles per day, all along the way gathering pledges and support from people and from our suppliers and from our retailers! All of the donation money is going to 8 worthy, non profit organizations.
