Position Overview:

The Sales Professional is responsible for the sales and distribution of the Maletis Beverage portfolio in a designated group of retail accounts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sales and distribution of all products, maintaining a regular call frequency, maintaining proper rotation of products, conveying new items and pricing and communicating with retail partners, the District Sales Manager, Delivery, Routing and Merchandising departments.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Sales and distribution of all products in designated accounts.
  • Regular call frequency to assigned retail accounts.
  • Sell, merchandise, monitor price and manage shelf space and tap handles.
  • Maintain proper rotation of all products in assigned accounts per Maletis Beverage Rotation Standards.
  • Responsible for daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history, seasonality, competitive activity and special promotional activities.
  • Convey all new items and monthly pricing programs to designated accounts (where applicable).
  • Utilize proper point of sale to support all brands and packages.
  • Merchandise all product displays for maximum product exposure.
  • Meet or exceed all designated Pay-For-Performance goals and objectives.
  • Meet or exceed all distribution and volume targets as mutually agreed on with District Manager.
  • Maintain daily communication with District Sales Manager.
  • Maintain communication, as needed, with Delivery, Routing and Merchandising.
  • Complete all survey requests.
  • Work with the Accounts Receivable department to resolve credit issues, including collecting past due balances.
  • Represent Maletis Beverage in a professional manner.
  • Responsible for any other tasks deemed necessary by District Sales Manager.

Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

 

Supervision Received:

This position will receive direction, supervision and regular evaluations from the District Sales Manager.

 

Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation):

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word.
  • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.

  • Having close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal.

 

Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs. as well as hang merchandise and be able to fulfill other physical requirements including: Repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs overhead), bending, pulling/pushing (Push/pull up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler).

Able to understand and read invoices, load sheets, job orders, installation instructions and calculate simple math functions.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Work with minimal supervision, ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and be attentive to details.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work hours as needed to fulfill all job responsibilities.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Ability to analyze and present information.

Position Overview:

 

The role of the Key Account Manager is to call on the market retailers and execute programs mandated by our Maletis Team, our suppliers and directed by retail sales trends. This position will work in tandem with the Vice President, the Maletis Team and suppliers to present strategic and supportive business proposals to the market. This position must diligently communicate all aspects of our brand, SKU, company and category management to the highest level of industry standards.

 

As a KAM you must have the ability to communicate to the market and our supplier partner’s clear strategies, proposals and effective plans providing a clear road map toward reaching mutual success.

 

The ultimate objective of a KAM is to be regarded as the standard of the retail industry in representing Maletis Beverage company’s objectives. The business directive of this position is to be a catalyst and valued resource for our market, suppliers and customers.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 

The goal of this position is to communicate and partner with Maletis Beverage customers the message and value of promoting and fostering the success of Maletis Beverage in the marketplace. Accomplishing this objective requires an understanding of the assets, resources and value Maletis Beverage is providing the market landscape. This message must be presented, explained and reconfirmed, in the utmost professional fashion. The position’s responsibility will require a continual “real time” assessment of market situations and its potential. Evaluations require an assessment of the competitive environment and an interpreted understanding of customer needs and market trends. The position will be required to understand and interpret all aspects of the retail market and be prepared to present strategies, business reviews and market analysis to all channels of retail and their management. The position must focus, define and communicate with all levels of retail decision makers including Maletis Beverage management dedicated on achieving mutual goals.

 

The position requires the candidate to present themselves at the highest level of integrity in professional and ethical practices. The position will be required to process an intense motivation allowing them to address opportunities and to move the business forward with a sense of urgency.

 

This position also requires management skills that foster a strong business environment internally and externally. Lastly, training and the development of “Business Development” staff is an utmost priority by Vice President.

 

Management Duties

                                 

Planning –  Planning is defining opportunities, analyzing market potential, establishing forecasts, establishing goals ( long term and short term), creating programs, developing strategies – with a plan of action, developing time lines for the achievement of goals and determining the criteria required to measure success.

 

Directing –   Professionally communicating, motivating, educating, coordinating and informing the retail market of the benefits partnering in the sale of Maletis Beverage products.

 

Controlling– Evaluating, measuring and assessing business situations and then incorporating a positive direction to best manage the performance and success of Maletis Beverage products with our customers.

 

Communication– Possess the ability to listen and understand a variety of viewpoints, be willing to partner in the achievement of mutual goals, to be consistent in one’s message and continually be professional in all market presentations and business communications.

 

Customer focus – Position must provide excellent and perceptive customer service. The relationship must create a trust and respect that will foster committed, long term relationships.

 

Professional ethics – Represents the position, the customers and Maletis Beverage in a mature, honest and responsible manner. The position’s focus must be on understanding and executing shared goals and fostering mutual success.

 

Position practices fiscal responsibility, integrity and accountability– Conducts all business within corporate fiscal budgets, goals and within the guidelines of company and legal mandates.

Qualifications & Skills:

 

10 Years minimum experience in retail sales or actual retail responsibilities. Sales or related understanding of retail operation is required. Must have a high level of communication skill with a command of presence providing the ability to present business objectives.
