JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION:  CUSTOMER SERVICE / INSIDE SALES

MISSION: LEADING THE INDUSTRY WITH QUALITY PRODUCTS, TEAMWORK AND CUSTOMER SATISFACITON.

GENERAL: PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS. DEVELOP PRO SELL ACCOUNT BASE.

DIRECT REPORT: SALES MANAGER

SKILLS NEEDED:

  • BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS
  • BASIC OFFICE SKILLS (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TELEPHONE  SKILLS, COPYING, FAXING, FILING, SORTING, ETC.)
  • EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
  • SELF MOTIVATED. (REQUIRES MINMAL SPUERVISION)
  • DETAIL ORIENTATED
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND PUBLIC RELATION SKILLS.
  • EXCELLENT TIME MANAGEMENT SILLS
  • EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
  • ABILITY TO MULTI TASK AND INTERACT WITH MULTIPLE CONTACTS.
  • BASIC SELLING SKILLS
  • WORKING KNOWLEDGE IN THE FOLLOWING SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • MAKE DAILY PHONE CONTACT WITH PRO SELL CUSTOMER ACCOUNT BASE TO DETERMINE THEIR ORDER NEEDS. ENTER ORDERS INTO THE SYSTEM.
  •  FOLLOW-UP WITH TRANSPORT AND DELIVERY DRIVERS WITH ANY IMPORTANT NOTES OR INFORMATION FOR THE CUSTOMERS NEXT SCHEDULED DELIVERY DAY
  • MAINTAIN UP TO DATE CONTACT INFORMATION FOR THE ASSIGNED PROSELL ACCOUNT BASE. (INCUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CURRENT OLCC LICENSE, CONTACT INFORMATION, PHONE NUMBERS, EMAIL ADDRESS, ETC.)
  • TAKE INCOMING PHONE CALLS REGARDING CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS. COMMUNICATE THOSE NEEDS TO THE PROPER DEPARTMENT, MANAGER, OR SALES REPRESENTATIVE.
  • DOCUMENT AND COMMUNICATE CUSTOMER SPECIAL DELIVERY NEEDS
  • ATTEND ALL SALES GENERAL SALES MEETINGS.
  • SELL IN NEW PRODUCT INFORMATION TO ASSIGNED CUSTOMER BASE.
  •  REVIEW MESSAGES EACH MORNING LEFT ON THE CUSTOMER SERVICE VOICE MAIL.  COMMUNICATE THOSE MESSAGES TO THE PROPER PERSONEL OR DEPARTMENT.
  • MAINTAIN PROPER COMMUNICATION WITH SALES MANAGER AND TEAM LEADERS REGARDING NEW ACCOUNT LEADS. GATHER ALL IMPORTANT INFORMATION NEEDED TO MAKE A PROPER FOLLOW UP CALL BY MANAGEMENT OR SALES REPRESENTATIVE.
  • SET UP NEW CUSTOMERS IN THE DATABACE.
  • WORK WITH THE DRAFT DEPARTMENT TO PRIORITIZE HOT SHOT ORERS, DRAFT TECH ISSUES AND SPECIAL EVENT DRAFT NEEDS ARE TAKEN CARE OF.
  • ABILLTY TO INVOICE PRODUCT FOR DOCK SALES AND RELIEVE THE FRONT DESK IF NEEDED.
  • MAINTAIN WEEKLY CONTACT WITH COSTCO.
    • PROCESS WEEKLY ORDERS
    • WORK WITH COSTCO ORDER CONTACTS TO ISURE PROPER ORDERING AND INVENTORY LEVELS.
    • COMMUNICATE WEEKLY ORDERS TO THE MALETIS INVENTORY COORDINATER, WAREHOUSE MANAGER, AND MIKE HALE AS NEEDED.
    • CALL COSTCO STORES TO SCHEDULE DOCK TIMES FOR DELIVERIES.
    • PROCESS AND COMMUNICATE ANY COSTCO INFORMATION COMING THROUGH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK.
